GPU Being Bottlenecked?

i recently got a xfx hd 5770 graphics card and i ran the unigine heaven benchmark with dx11 and high settings but i got an extremely low rating, like 13 fps. i ran the benchmark at 1440x900 with dx11, 4 aa, 16 anisotropy, tessellation enabled, full screen, etc. is my card being bottlenecked by my amd athlon 64 x2 5200+ brisbane overclocked to 3.28 ghz? just wondering why my score was so low since i heard others getting much higher scores. maybe it is normal? if so please let me know. thanks.

what drivers are you using? the latest is catalyst 9.12

It could be that your computer is in need of a good cleaning, so download and run these programs:

Auslogics Disk Defrag
Auslogics Registry Cleaner
CCleaner
Malwarebytes (make sure you update to the latest version)

I'm seeing a trend of people getting the low teens when maxing the benchmark out. Your CPU might be slowing you down slightly, but I doubt you'd gain a tremendous amount going much higher.

thanks for the replies. i actually JUST installed windows 7 so i doubt i need to do any cleaning. i installed ccc 9.12 and the newest drivers for my card.
