na :) you just dont get the fancy box and additional software packages that you would usually get with the card. You will just get the card and the drivers in a white box.


EDIT: what will you be using your PC for ??

i think you should get a good processor and a good video card instead of an ok processor and a really good video card:a amd x2 3800 once the price changes are in effect and a 7600 gt

The A64 3200+ is a good processor. And in alot of games, it performs exactly the same as the X2 3800+ (since thats basically just two 3200+ in one).

And he would notice a much better increase in performance with the 3200+ / 7900GT then with what you suggested.
 
really? oh i never new that. i do think the 3200 is good (cuz i have one), but i thought that dual core would have much better performance.
