GPU display 1080i ?

i just discovered how the "interlaced" display format works, or the short form as in 1080i or 720i.

so it displays every "even" verticle line in one frame, and all the "odd" in the next, alternating, at twice the framerate?

the xbox 360 can display 720p or 1080i, so the fill rate isnt good enough to display 1080p right?, but it can run x2 the framerate?

so isnt this just like cutting the framerate in half if our eyes cant keep up?

does anybody know whether AA is still being applied on bioshcok for the 360?

Everything you stated regarding the two formats is correct. But still the difference between 1080i and 1080p is not very apparent. You would only be able to tell the difference between them if you were sitting very close i.e, a monitor.

From what I hear Bioshock will hit a couple low FPS moments on the 360, so no I don't believe AA is going to be applied.
