GPU is making a grinding noise.

So I came home from work and turned my computer on and all of a sudden I started hearing this grinding noise that almost sounded like someone snoring. With a little of investigating, I located the origin of the sound and it's coming from my GPU. I immediately turned my computer off and took the GPU out and inspected it. There was only a little dust on it, which I cleaned off and then I reinstalled it. No luck. I made a video with what's going on so people can understand what's really going on.

P.S. And no... it's not the fan. It's sounds inside the GPU. and no... it's not a coil whine as you can see from the video. I also just installed that mobo the night before, but there weren't any issues just after it was installed.

one quick way to find out.put your finger on the centre of the fan and stop it.if the noise goes away, its the fan.

It will be one of the fans most likely a damaged blade or bearing. It stop the fan like in the comment above and see if the noise stops. If it does I'm pretty sure you can get replacements, so I'd swap both out as soon as you can.

Well it looks like I I traced the sound incorrectly. It looks like the fan on the back of my computer was wobbling. Quick replacement and fixed the problem. /facepalm
