GPU Memory?

So if I have two 1gb video cards I would have 2gb of video memory? Like if I pulled up GTA 4 it would say 2000mb video resources?

Not really no. SLI and crossfire only recognize the memory on the primary card. Well, rather it only USES the memory on the primary. It might say your total is doubled, but its not actually being put to use. Although I think the scenario changes when you're running say, a PhysX card or something, can't be sure, haven't really read up on it too much. This is what I've established myself so far though. Hope it helps.

No, or you would only have 512mb of video memory. Each card is rendering and has their own video memory, so it doesnt just "add up".

2 2gb cards = 2gb
