GPU / Mobo compat?

Hey everyone,

So I recently transferred my hardware from a tiny case, into a much larger case, which now gives me the ability to upgrade the GPU, due to space I have now.

So, I'm considering getting the EVGA GTX 670 superclocked 4gig

My questions is this... I currently have a IPISB-CH2 mobo

And I'm wanting to know if when I buy the GPU, its actually going to be compatible with the Mobo?

It will work, but the pcie bus will limit it a little, but it will still max all games out no problem i think (it's designed for pcie 3.0 and gets the same performance on 2.0 but 1.0 is a lot slower) But you will have to replace the power supply also if you want to use it. Also, what is you processor so we know it is good enough and not a waste and you'll need to make sure your case is long enough to fit the thing.

This is my system specs.

My current GPU is a single size card, not a double one like the one GTX 670 im wanting, however, the case I have used to have a GTS150 which is i think about 10inches long.

The PSU below, is not the standard that came with it, I actually purchased this 600w 80 plus PSU separately.

The above link, is the website from HP showing the exact model, minus the PSU that I installed and the new case I have all the hardware moved into.

Am I right in thinking that my Motherboard supports 2.0 PCI-E?

i can't see on that but it should be 2.0. What is the exact psu? you don't want to put a 670 on a cheap no-name psu.
