GPU runs hotter AFTER cable management?

so, I just put most of the power cables and everything behind the motherboard tray so there would be better airflow throughout the case. Normally, my gtx 260 would idle at around 39C and now it wont go below 45C. I don't understand.

Rivatuner is the most popular program for that.

Also you might want to check and see if any of your fans got unplugged or got blocked....I usually cut the back of my cases off (where the PCI cards etc would go) and bolt a 80mm fan there to help push the air out of my GPU. I don't use soundcards or anything like that so I never use the space ^-^

Doesn't do much for idle temps but on highload I see 4-5c drops.

I am using an antec 900 and I tried all the different speed settings including all four fans on full. I think that should be enough for the ambient temperature. I'l check rivatuner out. I used evga precision for overclocking it before and IT did not let me change the fan speed on this card. I will see if rivatuner will

I just got rivatuner. I have no clue how to use it. help? haha il be searching the forum to see if I can find out on my own...

k I found out how to adjust teh fan speeds. Is there any reason why I couldnt put the fan at full? other than the noise of course
