my radeon hd 4650 runs at 42 celsius idle overclocked at 765mhz core speed and 710 mhz memory speed. this is with a desk fan blowing through the little holes in the side of my case( the cooling in the case isnt very good). its around 50 celcius without the fan. is this normal?
also, if anyone else uses catalyst control centre and uses the auto tune feature they would know what i am talking about here. when i ran auto tune without the desk fan, at 125% gpu activity and a core speed of around 730 mhz the gpu temp reached 89 celcius. with the desk fan it only reached 72 celcius this normal? i am going to get a case with better cooling in a year probably.
