Hello forums!
This is my first time on the site but I just had a couple quick questions.
I am a gamer, not hardcore in the sense that I need the biggest and baddest of all PC's but I do play very often. I just purchased a new Dell PC. Now, I wanted to build my own PC but I'm a bit too intimidated by the process and figuring out what is good and what is garbage just threw my through a loop. So I just went online and purchased something that I know will have good bones and give me some room to work on adding things. I do a lot more than gaming Im a photographer as well and spend a lot of time editing photos and videos as well as a writer. Anyways, here is what I purchased.
Dell Inspiron 3847
8GB Dual Channel DDR3 1600MHz (4GBx2)
1TB 7200 rpm SATA 6Gb/s Hard Drive
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Dell Wireless-N 1705 @ 2.4GHz + Bluetooth 4.0
4th Generation Intel Core i5-4440 (6M Cache, 3.3 GHz)
I believe that's all the important info. The reason I purchased this is because I saved about $250 purchasing this PC as opposed to something similar I put together using friends knowledge on Newegg, but that only had an i3 processor.
If anyone could tell me the best way to put that $250 saved into a good graphics set up I would greatly appreciate it. Only downside is I will need to upgrade my PSu because it is installed with a 300w PSu... haha. Any suggestions are more than welcome! Thanks for all your help.
