GPU Will Be too Big

Hey guys, I've been planning on buying a gtx 970, as recommended, but my case will not support it's length. Any recommendations of a similar quality GPU would be appreciated!

P.S. Any other ideas for better quality parts, go ahead and let me know. I'm already over my $1000 budget by $200, hahahaha.

You can fit basically any card in to the 410. The hard drive cage can pull out and you get a lot of space. My 7970 is no small card and I've got tons of room. Also even without pulling out the cage it would probably fit. Where did you see that it wouldn't?

Edit: Under figure 12 in this link it says max card length is 12 inches even with the cage in there and 16 inches without. PCPartPicker says the 970 is 11.02 inches so you'll be fine either way. My 7970 is 10.8 inches for comparison.

With the hard drive cage, it will only fit a graphic card of around 9", the card I have is 11". I would really like to have the hd case

Check my edit in the previous post. You're wrong. It will fit, I guarantee it. Also unless your putting other stuff in there apart from what's in your list then you don't need the cage. You can fit 3 drives in the lower cage. I've got an SSD and a 1TB HDD (just like you) in there.

It's an awesome case, you'll enjoy it.

Thank you! Hey, question. When you bought your case, how many led fans did it come with? I'm banking off a review that said they changed it to just the top fan being led. Thank you again!

Edit: Very nice cord management by the way.

Yeah it's just the top one above my CPU cooler. It's actually white in my case, but gets drowned out by all the blue I have. I know the color varies depending on your case.

It also came with one fan in the front and one in the back. All the rest of the LED fans are stuff I added. I have way more fans than necessary but I like the lights. :D

Thanks! Check the guide in my sig if you want to see more of that case in action.

Something wrong with the price for ur WD black 1TB.

BTW, you can opt for WD green if u purely use it for storage.
Why do u need another 2 fans? your case already come with 3.

I disagree, assuming you'll be storing games on that drive I'd prefer a 7200RPM. Price difference is small but load times will be a bit quicker on the faster drive.

Same reason as me I assume, lights. Also a couple LED fans are easier to do than a LED strip or cold cathodes.

Yeah I really only just want the lights. I hope I don't need a fan controller to keep them running at a quiet rpm, I really don't want this to be too loud. Hahahaha.

The Phantom 410 comes with a built in fan controller. That switch on the top right has 3 speeds. Has space for 5 mans connected with a 3 pin fan connector. Full speed is... noisy. Low is quiet and what I leave mine on at all times.

Actually in my picture from the second post you can see my side panel fan cable plugged into one of the cables on the controller.

I have realized that the worst part of this build is buying the parts. $1300 just WOOOOOOOOSH out the window.:cool:

I can't wait for everything to arrive!!
