My parents wont let me get grandtheft auto liberty city stories. does it have any bad stuff in it. i know it has guns and drugs in it but thats not the main reason. my parents wont let me get it cause they think it has sexual content in it. does it? if it does can you turn it off or is it not bad at all. and is it a fun game at all.

well i think she is confusing it with GTA san andreas. that game had the sex scene but you could only get to it by using cheats.
as for GTA:LCS just look at the ESRB
rated Mature for Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, Use of Drugs

but i dont think it has something as bad like in san andreas

It's intended for 17+ by the ESRB. Harsh as it may be, I'd say look at getting another game.

If you get it behind there backs, is it really worth sneaking around with? Worth the possible discovery and punishment for purchasing it, and loss of money you payed for it? It's just a game...

i can do that quite easily all i have to do is not play it when i am around them and i have good hiding places and i have friends that can get it for me and ill pay for it. but first ill try and see if i can talk to them again and see if they will let me get it.

if you really insist, go for it. that so call "sex scene" is something you will probably never get unless you are playing previous versions and have the "hot coffee" cheat, along with many hours of playing your character with certain steps with the girls (dont worry, you didn't have to understand that unless you are trying to get the sex scene). so dont worry too much.

as far as the parents knowing, its up to you.

so do you think if i tell them this that they might let me get it or do i have to buy it without them knowing it so they dont find out.

well you cant buy it on your own since your not 17. just try and convince them that its not a bad game. show them lots of screenshots of the game and tell them its not that bad. or say you'll play when thier around for the first time you play so that if anything bad does come up the parent can just take it back..like rent it first.

Well I have it. It's a sweet game, lots of missions to do. There is a bit of sexual content, but it's nothing harsh. not like nude scenes or sex scenes. So far the worst thing I've seen in that game to do with sex is a mission where your characters father is cheating on your characters mother with 2 prostitutes. but in that mission there was absolutely no nudity at all (except you see your characters father in a diaper:confused: ) There is a lot of swearing though, and of course the violence. But to answer your question, yes, It has a slight bit of sexual content in it, but its so tame that your parents shouldnt worry about it.

Buy games online from play.com or amazon or watever and you wont have to worry about your parents not letting you buy it cos those sites dont make a big deal of the ESRB. I got San Andreas that way and to this day my parents haven't asked what you do in the game. They only saw the price and after that it was as simple as clicking 'Checkout'
