Graphic card comparison

I was wondering since GeForce 8600 Ultra is coming out soon, and the price for 8800GTS/8800GTX is going to drop, does 8600 Ultra has a better performance than 8800? Or 8800 can still outperform the 8600 Ultra? Or they are not even comparable?

Need advise... just starting to learn building my own comp.

We would all just have to wait and see. The 8600 ultra is not even out yet.

8800 Ultra will be released on May to compete with X2900 XTX. NVIDIA is pretty confident that GeForce 8800 Ultra can beat Radeon X2900 XTX
