Graphic card, have I been tricked?

I've had some problems with my graphic card ATI Radeon HD 4850 for some while now. This week I was at a visit to the store I bought it from "Komplett" It's an online store.

After a long day of testing it was concluded it was the graphic card, which they refused to believe inn earlier tests they made.

And so I got a new graphic card as a replacement free of charge, Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5750. Since the ATI Radeon HD 4850 card is not up for sale anymore. However a policy they've got is they are supposed to supply you with a card with better specifications than you're last one if there have been some trouble and the card is not availible for sale anymore.

The guys that assisted us at Komplett told us that the 5750 card is better than the 4850. Then again a friend of mine tells me that the 5750 card is weaker than the 4850 card. Since it runs on a lower frequency.

I simply wonder if I've been... tricked.

no, you haven't been tricked, the 5750 is better.

It is more powerful and has more features than the 4850. Frequency means not alot, same as amount of video memory means very little too
 
heck and it supports dx11 to boot i believe...so i would be pleased with the change, as well as the fact its probably more efficient than the previous card
