Graphic card issue (strange one)

I have this problem with my graphic card.. or atleast that's what i think is the problem. Anyway, when i use my computer it displays mummbled up graphics.. and evemtually it cuts the connection to the screen waits like 5 seconds and then goes back.. every 10th time or so it reboots.. it's hard to explain what it looks like so i have attached an image.

Any help would be of use..
I have tried to unplug all additional cards, tried to uninstall the driver (solves the issue), removed the heatsink from the graphic card and added some thermal paste, swapped slots on the motherboard, formatted and installed xp again.. etc.. nothing worked.. by the way i have an Intel Core 2 duo 2.4 Ghz, 2 Gb ram, Point of view Geforce 7800.. (with heasink) running on a Asus P5W Deluxe motherboard.

OK,you can affirm where problem is with "replacement method".Borrow another grafic card and check out if the problem remains.By analogy replace other hardwares as far as you find out.
 
Thank you everyone.. i tried the card on another computer and the same problem appeard so i guess the card is fried.. it does work without the nvidia driver activated, does anyone know why?
