graphic card question

Hello everyone!
I currently have a X800 ATI PCI xpress card. I have a core 2 duo 6400. I am about to have 2gb of ram. I am a huge flight sim fan and I have FSX. I currently can only have the settings on medium to get a smooth picture. I would like to buy an ATI 1900 series but, might not be able to afford it. I am looking at the X1650 series since I have heard they are good and obviously cheaper. I woul like to know if there is a good X1650 pro 512mb card that would be more than enough to run FSX on max settings?? Or am I pretty much screwed and need to buy a 1900 card.
Any help will be more than appreciated
Thanks,
Chris

The X1650pro is really crap, in fact at the moment I would steer clear of ATi cards. If you are going to get the X1650pro, you might as well get the 7600GS or the GT, because even the GS thrashes the X1650pro. First of all what X800 do you have? the XT or GT? Flight sim X is going to lag on a X1650pro.

My friend made the mistake of getting a X1650pro, its so expensive when you take the performance into account. But in terms of comparison with the X800 XL, I think the X1650pro is marginally better.

well, I really think I am going to go with the x1900 series. That shouldn't have any problems with maxing out settings on FSX right?

Well if you are willing to pay for a X1900, you might as well get a 7900GT, it performs better and produces less heat. Win-Win in anyone's book.
