Graphic card upgrade questions.

I would like to upgrade the video card on my computer, however with so many different cards out there I don't really know where to begin. My current video card is an AMD Radeon HD 6450. My PC is an HP Pavilion Elite HPE-500f Desktop.

I'd like to be able to run Diablo 3 cleanly. The beta ran pretty clean but at a low video setting. I've never done anything internal on a PC other than adding RAM. Is it just as simple? And if I upgrade the video card do I need to upgrade the power supply or anything else?

Thanks in advance!

Installing the video card is pretty simple. Just pop it into place and screw it down.

However you will need a new PSU. You might be able to get away with your current one if you got something like a 6770, but I still think an new PSU would be a good idea.

Do you have a budget? Because that decides stuff more than anything else.

Any other games you want to be playing?

i'd prefer to stay 150 or less on the card, and then whatever the power supply costs. But there is no strict budget. I also play alot of SWTOR, which usually runs fine on mid settings with my current set-up

If you were able to stretch your budget a bit then this would be a good choice, if not, go for a 6850.

Any of these PSU would be good.

I personally own the Corsair Builders Series 600 watt and I like it. Quiet and works well. The 500 watt version would work for you. I've heard of people having issues with a whiny fan but mine is completely silent.
