My graphic card was stuck in the AGP slot . It was a little tight clip in the slot , I was afraid if I manage to force it out would break the graphic card and even pluck out the AGP slot !! Before that I had send my computer to the dealer shop for services because failed to boot into the windows several times. I suspected that it might be the graphic card a little bit loosen and mades the technicians install the graphic card more deeper. Is there anyone experienced this before ? Please show me the way to overcome it . The mainboard is P4X-266A.

They usually have little locks to hold them in. To unlock it you either press the latch back or slide the slider off the card hook.

But I cannot find any lock on the slot !I just saw a label "Open"on the right side of it . Besides ,there were two small arrow pointed the different side under the label. Is there any picture to show me the lock ? It just a common 4x AGP slot.

There are a few variations, this might not be all of them but are the most common 2.

I think his board is a Jetway, so the retention mechanism would look liike Cromewell's 2nd pic. May be way off base tho.

No, my AGP slot don't have any white lock on it . I had surfed several website and found out my AGP slot have a special slider lock mechanism as Cromewell said. But I have no idea how to unlock it ? My AGP slot is like the picture above

From the look of the picture, theres something you need to pull to open. **looks at the writing on the back of the slot**
I know, but how could I fit my fingers in the backside of the tiny slot ? I could not figure out which is the real slide mechanism.Would that be in the small hole besides the label "lock" and "open" ?
