hi i am going to build a pc and i need some advice on the two cards
BFG GeForce 7950 GX2 1024MB GDDR3
this card has lower clock speeds than a
geforce 7900gtx oc,
but i know the 7950 is like two cards in one so im totally confused also is there drivers available for the 7950, which ever i get i will not be running sli untill i can afford another card so please advice which is best
 
well the 7950x2 is by far better because its got 2 7900 cards in one, if you got the money i would def get it
it doesnt really matter about clock speed just the onboard mem and the pipelines
 
The 7950 GX2 1024MB GDDR3 will out perform the 7900gtx. It has lower GPU clocks because the PCB`s are too close together and if the card is clocked higher it will get hotter causing problems.

There are Drivers out there for the 7950 but not for QUAD SLi (YET) anyway.
If i was you i would get the 7950.
 
7950 is better than the 7900gtx OC, even though the clock speeds are lower. There are drivers for the 7950, if I'm nto mistaken you can jsut use the latest forceware dirvers. If there's something else that is necessary (Off the top of my head Ku-Sama would be the person to ask) it will come in the box.
