i like to play games on my computer but most games wont work on my computer.i have a intelr 82810e graphic controller , pentuium 111 996 mhz, with 128 mb of ram. i know im low on ram so if i get a new grphic card will games work on my comp?

Read game requirements. Most of them require at least a Pentium 4... I will say a PIII 733MHz with a Radeon 8500 and 512MB RAM can barely run Need For Speed Most Wanted. However, I wouldn't even try upgrading your system unless you get the parts for free.

What type of computer do you have? If anything I would suggest buying an entirely new computer, because most of the parts in your computer are probably very old and will need to be replaced anyways.

Buying a new graphics card wont help you with that type of processor or ram.

You can get a decent computer that will run games (not well but decently) for like 500 bucks.

Well depends on what games your trying to play obviously, but RAMs cheap, if you cant afford a new comp start there...512mb to a 1 gig can do wonders, i say this cause in the future it would then make a great secondary computer so i dont see it being a waste of $$$ by any means.
