Graphic designing cliches/bad things to do

Hey guys, its my roommate's birthday soon, and he's a graphic designer. We always make fun of him by saying things like, "Comic sans is the best font ever." and stuff like that. I want to make a poster for him (Using comic sans, obviously. And maybe Bazooka and papyrus) but I want to know other cliches or things that are looked down upon in the graphic design community so I can essentially troll him. :) Thanks guys!

Just generally don't bother with any sort of neatness or professionalism, make it look like a 5 year old did it. :D

Not sure what else would be looked down on really. MS Paint and a messy finish would probably annoy most professional designers to the back of their teeth.
 
It's sometimes hard to piss off artists, because they have skewed views on the world, but try a collage of comic-sans, nickleback, justin bieber, put it on a lousy background and call it ART. Nothing pisses artists more than calling bulshit "art" XD
