Graphics card for gaming and editing HD content

I want a graphics card for gaming and editing HD content.

I have an HIS 4850 it doesnt seem to do well editing AVCHD 1080P

It looks really choppy when I am editing it and in the end it looks like shit, gaming though there isnt a problem.

I remember i never had a problem but I think I may have just messed something up.

good and cheap anywhere up to 150 bucks
everything in my sig is what I have still except the video card, I have an HIS 4850 and it can't play 1080p movies and edit them at all which is surprising.

What software do you use? Premiere Pro CS5 has support for hardware acceleration.

Ultimate or HD? There are different ones...

I noticed my memory takes a huge spike during editing I have 4 gigs of memory and when editing it goes up to 80% of usage so it may be more of a RAM issue.
