Graphics Card gets very hot

My graphics card only uses a heat sink, it has no fan.

It get's to about 71C while playing games/66C idle. In my opinion, that's pretty damn hot. I only have 1 fan in the back, which is putting out air, and a air duct on the side. The heat sink get's so hot, you can't even touch it. The same thing with the card.

Any ideas on getting air flow to the graphics card? The card is below all the fans, so I don't really know how to get air flow down there.

Help me out here. :/

grab an 80mm fan and put it on the heatsink, but that kind of defeats the purpose of your "silent heatpipe technology" video card.

I've not seen many silent devices that really worked too well... Now those temps aren't horrible, but they aren't too great either. Hehe, I mean to have such a heatsink on it, I've had my fan spinning at about 32% and it only got to 73*C. If you've not seen the 7600GT cooler's, they are pretty small ;P

my 7900 gs xxx 620/815, pretty much is 47 c/64 c under load, i found that modding the side of your side panel, and putting a intake fan there really helped my gpu cool down, i modded the part by cutting a hole and placing the fan there, i also put a finger guard just in case lol, but that is a really good way to cool down your gpu, have the fan blow about at the same height of the gpu.

That's not that bad. My x850pro peaks at around 75ºC with my fanless cooler.

But if you really want to keep it cool, you'll have to mod your case like xandercage said. Also you can get one of those PCI slot coolers and put it right underneithe the graphics card. This way any heat expelled from the card is immediately whisked away.

if you get a pci cooler, make sure it blows up, and not down, because then the gpu will be fighting for air with the pci card which may just be even worse. I bought a pci fan and it was a strong fan but it blew down, so i returned it because it didn't do what it was intended to do.
