Graphics card overheating?

hey everyone, i got a gforce gtx 570 and when ever i play games like Battle field 3 my card heats up to about 50-70 degrees celsius and the game crashes :(.

this is the specs of my computer


motherboard - Gigabyte P67A-UD7-B3 - sandy bridge
graphics card -Asus Nvidia Gefore GTX 570
case - Cooler Master HAF 942 X ATX Full Tower Case
OS - Windows 7 32 bit
 
yeah the fan speed gets bumped up by the program im using - Asus smartdoctor would it be a bios problem?
 
Sometimes the programs auto fan speed wont bump it up fast enough. Try manually setting it at like 70% before you start the game and see if the temp stays lower.
