Graphics card power supply

in the tech specs it says that it needs a 250-300 watt power supply. what does that mean? and what do i have to change, if anything, about my dell 2400 to fit that?

2048 mb ram
2.6 ghz intel prossesor
firewire/usb pci card
possibly tv tuner soon

That just means that your power supply unit has to be rated at a certain wattage. IMO, it doesn't mean crap. I ran a card that required a 300W PSU on a 90W PSU. Your power supply you have now should be perfectly fine, since your computer doesn't seem to be too old.
