ive been looking for a grachic card and i had set my heart on the

1.2gb gtx 570

but as ive been comparing i some i cant really see which is better on these

http://www.eclipsecomputers.com/comparelist.aspx?id=13&title=Graphics%20Cards

the 560 has a 2gb and all the features the 570 has but it is cheaper so i just want some thoughts on it please, i wil be using t on a 40" lcd for now and a 32" when im all setup via dvi connection

DO NOT USE ECLIPSE

I have yet to find anyone who has good experience with them. All the time they are taking your money, they are fine, as soon as you have a problem or need them to do anything for you, forget it. As an example, there was someone on here not long ago who bought a system from them. He proved beyond a doubt that his power supply was faulty on his new system. Sent it in for testing and they sent it back saying they found no problem with it. Even when given the proof, they still denied it. Anything to try and get around it, it is always the same.

Overclockers.co.uk
aria.co.uk
ebuyer.com

any of those would be much better. The first is where I shop the most. Do not use Scan either, though they have an excellent range, excellent prices and a great store, their support and attitude is terrible.

Regarding your question, memory means very little. The only time it helps is at higher resolutions, and for 2GB, you are talking multiple HD monitors. The chip itself is what does the processing, and the 570 has extra shaders unlocked, meaning extra power. There is a reason it is more expensive, and it is to do with power. Even with the extra memory, your 560 isn't going to be giving you anywhere near the same performance without a decent overclock on there
