Graphics card suggestion

My 2 year old HD4890 is experiencing some artifacts and I'm thinking of replacing it. Can anyone suggest a good card that costs around $200? Hopefully this card will be able to run BF3 near max when it comes out.

Also I don't have preferences between AMD and Nvidia, I just want the card to be relatively quiet.
 
How much of an upgrade will the HD 6950 be compared to my current HD 4890. Also how much faster is it than the GTX 560?
 
The improvement would be worth the money you spent :D

The GTX 560 Ti comes close in performance to the HD 6950 1Gb at lower resolutions but gets crushed at resolutions greater and equal to Full HD -

And the HD 6950 2GB is a better card compared to the GTX 560Ti and worth the difference. :D
 
hm looks good. I"ll keep an eye on it and jump on it when I see a deal. Let's see how long my HD 4890 can last...

If there is no issue with the HD 4890 I wouldn upgrade.
Since for now it must work even though it won´t max out some games at Full HD but will last till the next GPU series. :D

Even I am sticking to my GTX 275 till the next series. I was planning an HD6950 but was not able to arrange funds for it.

Well it's artifacting like crazy, so I'm expecting it to die soon.
 
Ok so my HD 4890 is artifacting on basically every game I play now. I decided that I'm going to buy a new card within the next week.

Here's what I'm looking at after suggestions from above:
HD 6950 1GB

Sad about the HD4890,it forced you to get a new GPU.

And I did not read this first would have said GTX 560 only.

Does the Galaxy GTX 560 Ti has 3 Fans on the Heatsink?

It has 2 fans on it and is actually pretty quiet, even on full load.
