graphics card upgrade

hi my motherboard supports the following pci-e graphics cards and i can only use the ones on the following list, what has more than 128 mb memory but is still cheap?

Hey Smooth, off topic but how do you like that 22 LG? Right now I have a Acer 22, going to give it to my Mother. Was thing of replacing it with the LG 22

Dont know, thats one of thoses boards that has a AGP and PCIe. In reality that PCIe slot only runs on 4X lanes instead of 16X. Could be why. Or thoses are the only cards they have tested and guarantee to run on it.

I actually am loving it. My brother has a Samsung 22" that cost about $150 more, and he admitted he was jealous of the quality picture I was getting.

The 2ms response time and high contrast ratio is awesome. I've seen the Acers, and the contrast and clarity didn't seem as nice.

The only possible complaint I have is that the base support is kind of low and not very adjustable.

BTW, what kind of PSU do you have? Depending on how good your power supply is, it will determine how high you can go with your GPU.

That looks really nice. Almost identical to what I have, except the stand looks higher (my monitor's low stand is my main complaint...I have mine sitting on top of a metal block from a TV stand to meet eye level).

I think you'll be really pleased. =)

yh, ur right smooth it is a bit of a wierd board, so do you think it will take any card or just the ones on the list, it also mentions bios on the webby, mine is up to date, just dont want to buy a card that wont work or will kill my mobo/ atm my psu is a 350 watt, i was thinking of upgrading to about 500 watt this xmas
