Graphics Card Upgrade

I recently bought an HP Pavillion dv6-3025dx with the following stats:

4 GB of RAM DDR3, 500 GB of hard disk space
AMD Phenom II N620 Dual Core Processor
2.8 GHz, 2 MB L2 cache
ATI Mobility Raedon HD 4250 graphics with 128MB display cache memory
Windows 7 Home Premium

I like everything about the laptop except the graphics card which makes it impossible to play a lot of games. What I need is a graphics card that will run higher end games like call of duty and starcraft 2. What would be the best upgrade?

A desktop.

No seriously though, with most laptops, especially ones with integrated chipsets, you're pretty much stuck with what you bought. Sorry.

He is right. I have never seen any one successfully upgrade a laptop video card.

To answer your question though a desktop would be the easiest thing..or buy a new laptop

1 x PCI Express x16 slot, 1 x PCI Express x1 slot
So you can put a PCI Express Graphics Card as long as you meet the power supply requirements and The Sims 3 requirements. You can put in a 9600 GT or 9800 GT (300W-400W) and some GTX series.

In my explorations around the HP and other related sites, nowhere have I found a source saying his laptop has any slots capable of allowing a GPU upgrade.

sorry bro but just like everyone said: DESKTOP!!! Beats notebooks when it comes to customization although it is possible to change the gpu of a notebook...just EFFING hard.
