Graphics card

I was having issues with my DELL D1920 monitor lately. When I boot my PC, it says "No signal Input". I double-checked, even triple-checked my connections, and I couldn't find any problem with it and still the problem persisted. So one fine day, I unplugged all my connections and replugged them back..and VOILA!!..the monitor started working. I started Fifa 12. And the game was lagging like hell. So, i exited the game and checked my windows rating index. It said that I had a recent hardware change and needed to refresh it. When the new ratings came, the "Gaming graphics" had decreased from 6.3 to 3.1. Similarly "desktop performance for Windows aero" decreased from 4.9 to 3.4. I use a GeForce 7025/ nForce 630a graphics driver, with 1gb memory.

I consulted with the support team at Nvidia and they said, "The issue you are experiencing is not a general behavior of the graphics card or the graphics driver. However, such issues could also occur if the display driver is not registered properly in Windows. Hence, in order to troubleshoot the issue I would request you to install this display driver 304.48." I updated the driver. The gaming graphics option increased to 3.2.

Is it because the video card is not properly inserted that this is happening? Or due to some other reason? GUYS, HELP!!!

And thanks in advance :)
