and, if you guys could help me configure the best computer i can for 800 or under, that would be excellent.

thank you ahead of time.

mobo only supports one videocard, the x1800xt is better, but you should look into getting a 7800GTX insted

no the cards will not work and the ati will not work with the nvidia
and the borad will have to say something like sli ready
and u would have to pay a little more for the borad

and does $800 include the card

damn! so i cant get any SLi card for that mobo? that sux, cuz all the sli cards kick ass.
You can get an SLI ready card like the 7800GTX, you just cant get 2 of them. You would need to buy a new motherboard for that.

0o0o0o0o0o, i see, so i can get 1 SLi card for a NONSLi mobo, but i cannot get 2. correct?

because i dont even want 2 sli cards if thats where u guys were headed.

no, dont listen to them.
you can get any card you want, as long as your motherboard has a pci express slot, which it does.

edit** correct^^^

thanks i reallly appreciate the help, i probably would hav screwed something up...

anyways, so the 7800gtx is nice? too bad it brings my balance all the way up to 1k, lol. what would u pick between these:

2.)http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1641714&Sku=C261-3040
3.)http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1699446&Sku=P450-7814

ive already been told that #2 was better than #3, but the top one is probably the best cuz it costs a little more.

No, you would need an SLI PSU if you have 2 SLI cards, it wouldnt hurt getting it but you dont need it.
