Graphics Cards

I have a Dell Inspiron 537s and i'm running into problems upgrading the video card because its a slim tower. I have a radeon 3450 512 mb card now in a pci express 2.0 slot, but I cant find a powerful graphics card with at least 1 gb that will fit in my slim tower.

The size problem is the back plate where the DVI connection is, my current graphics card is only like 3 inches wide so i need one that size....

Does anyone know of a card or of some kind of adapter that will allow me to use a bigger video card? Possibly external?
 
i dont think that you would be able to find a gpu that would be powerfull and fit inside a slim tower tower case, most likely you would half to get atlest a mid tower for a 3450 to fit, unless you make a modification to the card for it to fit
 
You can get slimline 9600gt's with 1gb of memory from ebay. they are a little more expensive due to smaller size and larger memory.
take a look. almost all of them have at least 1 year warranty.
 
Why do you need 1GB? The GPU is more important than GDDR RAM.
A low end card with more GDDR RAM would not be faster than a higher end card with less GDDR RAM.

I recommend you getting ati 4650. Quite good for the price.
