Hey guys recently been having trouble with my graphics card i think. Basically what happens is in any program requiring 3d models or data (such as games) pixelated rectangles appear all over the screen and make it impossible to play.

Ive just updated my drivers - didnt help, rollback my drivers - didnt help and tried turning the graphics settings down which also didnt help. Now i have no more ideas so im turning to you guys.

Ive got my dxdiag here to help you guys help me. (The forum wont let me post it as it is too many characters so ill link u to another topic that i made with the dxdiag in it.)

My Dxdiag can be found here

Id also like to say i have been using this computer, playing games and doing work for a long time. It is only recently that the problem has arisen.

Yeah... I'm pretty certain that's a GPU glitch there :P If drivers didn't fix it, there's a pretty good chance the GPU is shot. It's a fairly common occurrence, I'm afraid...

Before upgrading, you could try a few other things... Maybe pop the card out and confirm it's seated properly and there's no dust around the connector. Confirm the GPU is being cooled antiquity. Could you try running the card in another computer, or reloading windows (perhaps on another drive?) If the card works in another computer/under a clean install, you know it's something to do with software...

I don't suppose you've been doing any overclocking? If you have bee, you're card is just unstable and you need to dial back your clock speeds, although something tells me this isn't the case. :( If not, do a clean up, check your temperatures and if that does nothing, it looks like its off to newegg for you.
