i've got a dell inspiron 1300 laptop and i have been having trouble playing certain games recently. i've had the laptop for a while now and i had no problem with games for ages but recently my laptop broke and i sent for a new hard drive. since then, none of the games have been working. when trying to install a game today, i had a message saying that i dont have enough mb of video card to run the game, and when i looked it said i only had 8mb of video card graphics available.
i have already tried to give my laptop more mb of graphics by changing how much memory is dedicated to graphics in the BIOS but that didn't work. does anyone have any ideas on how i could improve the amount of memory used for graphics? would i be able to install a better graphics card in my laptop somehow?
i understand there is another thread about video cards in this forum but i thought having two problems in one thread would be too confusing. any help would be appreciated
