I have recently bought a full hd big screen tv and i want to stream full hd or blue rays movies from my computer to my TV. The only prob is that my computer does not have hdmi. I googled online if there was something like an external grapics card that can be hooked up through usb and i found that there was something like that. Just thought i would ask if anyone has any experience with this or advice. I have looked on a few local computer web sites and have not been able find any external ones. I guess i need to know if does one exist, If so are there any requirements to get it to run, and so on.

Thanks,

^ +1. DVI is the same thing as HDMI, electrically. There are usb graphics cards, but they aren't powerful enough for that.

I'm assuming we're talking about a laptop?

i have a question about using a big screen too. I have a Gigabyte 5830 HD grafics crad with 1GB of DDR5 running at 128 bt/s works perfectly for everything but games...... the screen just goes black. But I want to try to play games on my big screen too so my question is. Is there a way to get it to work I was thinking maybe the output signal was not strong enough to support the grafics of my games and maybe I need a higher performance card or a second in addition hooked up in crossfire any help or advise is greatly appreciated.
