Great hardware yet extremely low fps in games. Help!

Current specs

Gtx 780 ti
intel i7 4770k
5 gigs of ram
windows 8.1
1200 w psu

I've been playing League of Legends and Smite which shouldn't be that demanding of games, yet during fights my fps drops to around 5. My GPU drivers are updated. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know, thanks!

Has it always been like this or did it just start? 1200 watt psu is way overkill for your system. 650 would have been enough. What brand and model of power supply do you have?

It wasn't doing this before. I highly doubt my problem has to do with my psu, it's a corsair.
 
I have very little experience with computer software but what is your cpu temp at? Reapply your thermal paste possibly.

I never said it had to do with your psu. I was just asking brand and model as some will buy good parts except for the power supply and wonder why pc isn't working correctly.

As said in the previous post, check cpu and gpu temps.
