Grey out

on Win 8 when I go to "file"> send> page by email (its grey) link by email is also grey only short cut to desk top in on, How do I get the 2 to work??

Download Thunderbird. Thats free.

If you want MS Outlook, you'll have to pay.

I downloaded Win Essentials and I have the email set up. how do I fix the grey now??

I always use a 3rd party program, but my favorite is Incredimail. You can buy it or use it for free.

go to default program in control panel. choose "set program access and computer defaults". Choose custom. Next unselect "use current web browser" and select ie8. Do same for email. Click apply

I did as you wrote but i only have an OK button, No Apply, I did ok and then the setting went back to original again


Checked again. Grey out is black now, working, thanks.
