I just got my new computer stuff in and it works all great except now i took out my hardrive to my older computer and put it in the new one and now when i put it back into the old one, it'll turn on for 3 sec. and then turn off for 2 sec. and then turn back on and stay on but no video will be showing. I tried different combinations with and without the hardrive and same thing. Then i blew into the computer and way to much dust came out and then it stayed on but STILL NO VIDEO :( and now its back to its way of turn on, off, and then on. Does anyone know what else this could be?

What computer stuff? A list please.

So you took your old hard drive from you old computer (and I am assuming that it still had an OS on it) and you installed it in your new computer. Did you reformat the hard drive and reinstall windows? If you tried to put an old copy of your OS on a new system with a totally different motherboard, then that's why the new one would not boot.

As for why it will not boot back in your old system, it could be bent pins, or you damaged the cable when you disconnected it. Or somehow drivers for your new motherboard got loaded on the old OS and corrupted it.

Maybe you bumped the video card and you need to re seat it. Maybe you disconnected a power cord somewhere inside your system.

Try taking every thing out of your old system, cleaning everything, and reinstalling everything. Making sure all connections are correct.

oh sorry. By computer stuff i meant the parts..motherboard, ram, processor, ect. After I put in the old HD to the new computer, i tried booting from it but it booted from main hd 1st which was blank. So i got several of the blue screens. As for the old computer, i used the onboard video. And also, I tried turning the old computer that turns off and on, on without any HD in it. Still no screen...alteast the bios should pop up right?
