I recently bought a new ASUS Nvidia Geforce 6800xt graphic card and i am having some trouble. I am pretty confident it is installed ok. I uninstaled my old drivers before installin the new one, I have connected auxillary power supply but after the computer is on for a couple of hours i get the blue screen of death displaying if you have new hardware make sure it is insatlled correctly etc and KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR and stop 0x0000007a and some more numbers. I dont why this is happening i followed instructions to the letter. I thought it mite the fan but have checked and all the temperatures are normal.
I am am running HP media center m370, pentium 4, 2.60 GHz, 512 ram, windows xp media center. please help me. If i am playing games it lasts only about an hour before going to the blue screen, i can get a couple of houurs if doing other stuff.

thanx for that but still not sure how to sort this out. I am sure it is the new graphic card causing it but i have downloaded the latest drivers and still no luck. any one else who has any ideas please help

Try a little older version of the NVidia drivers. I have a friend that upgraded to the newest ones, and he's started having some random problems now, graphically related. It could even be a faulty card on a hardware level.
