Grphics memory

So, if my motherboard supports DDR RAM then would I not be able to buy a graphics card that uses DDR2 RAM? Or does the type of memory on the graphics card not matter? Thanks.

It will be fine. The systems memory and video cards memory have nothing to do with each other.
