GTA 4 Install Error.

Hi everyone,
I am unable to install any patch for GTA 4. The install-based error for these patches have nothing to do with the game as they work fine... I posted this in the games section as maybe others who play GTA4 may also experience the same issue on PC.

When I try running the 1.0.6.0 patch for the game, during the installation I get this:

I get the same message for 1.0.7.0.

I have searched up error code '2329' and it says to uninstall 'Windows Installer' from the Add/Remove programs list. However, I can't find it there. I think in general though, I have a problem with installations everywhere as some applications are failing to install.

I really can't think of anything to solve it, but try putting the patch somewhere else than in the GTAIV file location in your HDD. Unpack it somewhere else and run it. That's all I can think of... I had no problem unpacking/installing the patch. But I didn't put it in the GTAIV folder
