GTA IV LAG and COD4 LAg

Hello, My computer is about 2 months old,, Cod 4 worked perfect. But now I tried to play COD4 afte I downloaded GTAIV and i've got huge lag on cod 4, connection interrupted is the issue. And my GTAIV problem is,, when I wanna drive, or walk or whtever the game laggs like hell, when I just stay of my keboard everything is ok.
What's my problem ?

gta4 is on steam... :P he didn't break any rule with this post

Make sure that when you play CoD, make sure that it isn't opening rockstar game thing, whatever it is called, the thing that you installed to go online in GTA4

Make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date and try running ccleaner (google and download it) and defragging (use defraggler, not windows defrag, again, google and download it)

Actually I don't play trough Steam so i guess i just broke rule 9 xD

Hmm,, how do I find the right Graphics Drivers, i'm not that good in such a stuff...
Ald for the cleaner and defragler,, just typ 'defraggler' in Google?

Is my videocard strong enaugh for the game? I guess it is ?

could be my downloaded version that laggs .... So I just told it :p Just want to know if it is my vidocard or not :P
 
GTAIV has an issue with the windows live gaming thing. I didn't have lag when the game first came out but after an update i have the same issue.
 
whether or not he downloaded it he did not discuss where he did nor did he ask help on how to do anything with it he only asked about lag, and if it was caused by his video card. but yes i believe the card may effect performance since its a budget series card. but it shouldnt effect every game you play unless some how something from gta is running in the background.

so again no rules broken

and yes just google the names of the programs he told you, and for latest drivers you will find them on nvidia.com the drivers area is pretty simple you choose your series card and download the driver and install it thats it

I guess my card is Ok, So now i'll gonna do some research O.o XD
 
no you guys brought up how he played he didnt discuss how he played he just said he didnt play through steam so again i dont see a rule broken why dont you guys focus on answering the question instead of trying to bring out the rules broken thing if he would have went into detail or asked something to do with an illegal download but he did not so get over it and answer the question since it was about his video card and why it caused his other games to lag

and how did he break rule number 9 not once did he say anything about illegal activities besides when you brought it up.

Actually your the one that gave me the best answer so I guess you can tell more things to help me out. At least if you wanna help me.
