GTX 260 handle 26" 1920x1200??

Depends on the game, now crysis... absouletly not, cod4 should run alright as long as you dont crank the AA, and most games at the moment should run alright with moderate AA.

Should do.

When I had my quad I could max pretty much everything out on my 4850 (Excluding obvious exceptions)

I reckon you'd be able to away with 2/4AA on most new games

Awesome...thanks guys. I don't usually play with AA so that's not an issue. And I assume 1680x1050 would look fine on a 26" if I had to run at that resolution?

anything out of the native resolution will probably look pretty bad... there is no use cranking the settings up if your going to take the monitor out of its native res.

Keep in mind that a given resolution has the same amount of pixels no matter what size the monitor.

That said, a given resolution may actually look better on a smaller monitor than a much larger one.

if you got, say a 24" that runs 1920x1200 native, you wont really need to even really run the AA much at all because its already super crisp

ive got an 8800gts on 22"1680x1050 monitor and i run every game maxed fine, even with AA, but any AA for me past 2x seems pointless

given that, i think the 260 will do a pretty good deal on most games at that resolution. or you can look into a gtx280, bfg has one for 240 and its a major improvement from the 260 with the 1gb 512 bit ram and the 240 sp. overclocking might improve that awesomely as well

as of now i dont see the gtx260 worth it when the 280 can finally be bought for a few bucks more

Hmm alright. I already have the GTX260 so getting another card is out of the question for now. I would grab a 24" but I am planning on using the monitor to play Xbox 360 on as well, so I will be running HDMI from both my Xbox and my computer to the monitor. I thought the built in speakers would be a good idea because of the Xbox (I know they won't be great, but reviews say they are decent).

Maybe it's because I'm in Canada, but I have never seen a GTX280 below $280 (pre-MIR).
