GTX 295... should I do it?!

Yes it performs very well in my experience (all my games at max and smooth) ,you will like it at res. 1920 x 1200 and below.

I dont have a 30 " but like almost all other cards ,supposedly it will struggle with 2500 x 1600 playing high detailed graphics games

How come I can't find any benchmarks with this card but the one for the 4870x2? Anyone else find any benchmarks with this thing?

I am trying to see how it performs vs cards in SLi and Crossfire. I want to know if this really is the best option out there right now.
 
You will NOT be disappointed in this cards performance. At the least i'd say you'll be impressed. It is the best single card (2 gpu) solution out there right now.
 
Youtube its like the first link the dude compares it to a hd4870x2 and it rapes. I guarentee it is the best out there right now. Gooberman By the time you get your rig evga will have there new board out and its supose to be absolutely killer.
 
Do it if you have the cash spare.....what game is it that your current GTS is not performing as you would like?
 
I'm just a graphics whore. I love Crysis on full blast running flawlessly. Even World of Warcraft needs to run flawlessly. That's all really.

well the 295 should do a pretty darn good job with that. I have a 280 and it can handle crysis pretty well. I play with most stuff on very high with a coupel of things on just high and i get about 25-35FPS. I don't mind the drops though. I also run at 60FPS with everything high in Warcarft except when i am in stormwind in the main area, i go down to about 45-55. so the 295 shouldn't have a problem there. I was thinking of getting this one as well, but I figured i would just wait it out for a new one to come to the market that is better. Hopefully one comes out in the next year or so.

Really? So my graphics card really isn't the problem. WoW is just more demanding then I thought. What resolution do you play at?

Oh right i forgot to mention that lol, I only play at 1366x768. I find that 720p is good enough for me. It is a high enough resolution that it still looks good and plays well.
