GTX 460 1GB or HD 6850?

Given your needs I wouldn't imagine you being in any way disappointed with the ATI (or AMD I should say) card. I would be leaning towards ATI, mainly for the lower power consumption at the performance though, I personally stay away from big power hogs whenever possible (some people aren't that bothered).

CUDA allows the GPU to be used for more generic computations, not just graphics; it's generally used in high-performance computing applications, though it's also used for PhysX. If you don't care about either, you won't miss out.

Thanks for describing CUDA for me there mate! I have been confused since before. I thought CUDA was the number of cores that the GPU has. Still I don't need CUDA for generic computation and PhysX. I don't care about how particles are with PhysX. So should I go with ATI?

Update: GTX460 was Stocked and come more expensive then 6850. So Should I go with 6850?

Yeah. But before you do... Which brand of GTX 460? 1GB model or 768MB model? Because I was comparing the 460 1GB and the 6850 1GB. The 768MB card is basically the poor man's GTX 460. Also which brand of 6850? I have the MSI HD 6850 Cyclone Power Edition which comes with an out of the box overclock.

6850 is the HIS IceQ X that doesn't come overclocked. But somebody said it has a big overclocking room.
The GTX 460 is the 1GB version. And it is the MSI Cyclone that has I think higher clocks? I don't know.
