GTX 580 artifacts

So I was just on the internet and then the screen went black and the driver stopped working message popped up. It did this to me twice so I decided to run 3D Mark 11 and right away there were artifacts everywhere. It does it in every game I play. Is there something that could be causing this? Should I start the RMA process?
 
Actually it was MSI Afterburner, I disabled the voltage control last night, I just turned it on again now it's working just fine. Weird.
 
So I started getting artifacts again, this time everything was at stock, the temp never got over 70C. A simple restart fixed the problem, has anyone else experienced this?
