GTX 590 and SLI

I just want to ask, can you have 3 GTX 590 cards in Tri-SLI? Is this possible because the GTX 590 is a dual-GPU card and so with 2 cards aren't you effectively running in quad-SLI? Thanks.

You cannot run 3 590's in SLI for the exact reason you stated, also, it is pretty much worthless to run more than two cards in SLI/Crossfire due to 1. Negligable performance increase 2. Stuttering 3. Heat

you can not run it above dual SLI because it only has 1 SLI port, not 2 like most single card.

to run tri SLI, you you will notice on the bridge you linked, you need 2 SLI ports. The 590 only has 1 port.

Best thing to do is run a 590 and a 580, so it'll be tri-fire 580s.

I don't think that Nvidia will allow that, but I may be wrong. I know ATI will, but Nvidia I think it has to be the exact card, like 590/590 or 580/580, but not 590/580.
