Basically I have a choice between that of a:

Gainward GTX 670 Phantom
or a
Gainward GTX 680 Phantom

If anyone can find a back-plate that would fit on either in Australia(Syd) as I would prefer it greatly.

IIRC gainwind isn't a very reliable brand, and should something go wrong, their support might suck too.

and i'd go for a 7950 if you can, after the newest drivers they are killer

Go for an EVGA, MSI, Gigabyte or ASUS card if you want NVIDIA.

I'd save the money and go for a 670.

I personal don't think the price hike going from a 670-680 is worth the extra.

The 670s are very powerfull,I'm really happy with mine. :)

Im hoping the next generation of games proves this wrong.

I think the problem is that todays games arnt taking full advantage of the 680-670 and maybe thats why the performance difference is minimal. I mean, the 680 has significantly more raw power so I cant think of any other reason why there would only be a 5% difference in performance in gaming other than the games.
