GTX460 x2

It looks very odd with how tall the card is and with how the dvi ports are at the back,I bet its going to be awesome though!

I wonder how much its goingto be launched at? id suspect something the lines of £300?

a 480 is ~£330 for the cheapest, so I think we would be looking more towards £4-500

yeah, thats something like what i posted a while back.Asus' Dual-GTX 480 "MARS II", and know a dual GTX 460 by Zotac.

One of the comments on the link brings up a very good point; with 4 DVI slots filling up the back, the heat this thing is throwing off will either have to be circulated through the case, because it can't be exhausted, or it will have to be a triple slot card...

Either way, that is so retarded. That is, unless it comes with water cooling, but then it narrows the market even further, you will then have to be loaded to get one, and you also can't have an air-cooling setup

So you'll need a case with good cooling. Bleh. A serious gamer who is going to buy one of these cards will most likely have an awesome case. Triple Slot is very annoying, think GTX470 Amp!, which would otherwise be a good card. No way will a reference cooler have water cooling; leaves Zotac in tricky position.

No, a reference cooler won't have water cooling, but there hasn't been a reference 460x2, just the zotac one, so they can whack any cooling they want on. I think it will be air cooling still though, but I don't see how they can remove the air with those 2 DVI ports there, seems like a bit of a naff design

Least you can run lots of monitors off it :P

Maybe Zotac are going to unveil the ultimate in passive cooling, which will render air and water cooling obsolete...
But that's a long shot

It'll be interesting to see how this pans out
