Guitar Hero 3 PC

First off I wanted to know who all else had it and what you thought about the online features. I laid the hurting on some fools yesterday but I dont like that there is no game lobby to meet up in and also no chat options. There should be a friends feature too so you could see who was online and when. The actual online gameplay is great if they could just add those features.

Next I wanted to know if there were any websites that would track your progress for you or any communities for GH3 PC. www.guitarhero.com appears to be for only xbox360 which is lame.
 
I didn't know Guitar Hero was coming out of pc.

Do you still use a small plastic guitar? Or do you use your keyboard?

Anyways I seriously don't know what the huge hype about guitar hero is, I mean it's just a glorified dancing game, with a different interface (A guitar, and instead of controlling a dancer your a guitarist.)

I don't mean to flame, but it gets me angry lol.

No xrt, there is guitar hero 3 the real version for PC not frets on fire. YOU use the x-plorer guitar just like the console version and its sweet.

Why does it make you angry that people like this? It is afterall for entertainment. It is similar to a dancing game yes only it appeals to a completely different audience. It gets ME angry when people say things like that which shows that they have most likely never played the game or couldnt afford it. A game is a game whether your keeping the song going by playing the guitar or killing a bunch of fools in an fps. Its all entertainment and appeals to different people.
 
Scorehero has a utility to input your scores but it works on the honor system really. I would prefer a tool that auto updated my scores to my profile instead. Any help would be great!

No offense dude. There's an edit so you don't post and post and post after yourself. Secondly, the PC version is just a copy of the 360 version which makes it seem pointless to buy the PC version. Sony has been having a lot of issues with online play but it seems like most of the major ones have been worked out. I played online all day yesterday.
 
Sorry about posts, they were intended to bump the topic. Yes the pc is a port but it has a lot of potential over the consoles in the fact that there is some really great mods that will start circulating and add an entire new level to the game play. I have had zero issues with the pc's online capabilities, I just wanted to know where I could upload scores and such and low and behold aspyr announced that they will be supporting the guitarhero.com scoreboards soon making the pc version exactly like the 360 version...but i dont own a 360, thats why I bought the pc version.

I just cant figure out why they didnt support the site from day one. The forums are full of people who have the pc version. They even started a petition to send to aspyr and now they are commenting after hearing about i lol.

It sucks, its not even coming out in New Zealand but I might get through... different methods as you can use the 360 controller.

lol, good luck with that. It ships with the exact same 360 guitars so it should work if you *somehow* acquired the software.
