Guys help me !! Wrong operation!!

i just reformatted my desktop pc, once windows had finished the install, i found that i formatted the wrong drive!!!!!!!
now all my photos, music, documents and other various bits of shit are now gone.
is there any apps that recover files that have been fully formatted over?

i dont think so. i think there might if you delete them but not if you reformat. sorry.

Yes it can be done. You need to find some disk recovery tools. Norton had suite of tools for this very purpose years ago but I do not know where you would find them now. You need to google for disk recovery tools and do the recovery from the DOS level. Good luck.

I did that one time at work but I just formated it I didn't install xp on it we used norton getdataback for ntfs got evrything back

the only way to ever ever get rid of something on an hd is to physically destroy it, or rewrite the same sector something retarded like 18,000 times. Yes you can get it back do what it said on the above posts.
